The top is very strange one; the material is quite stiff and does not mold itself to your shape very well. But the colour is nice.
It has a wider than normal neck which I'm not used to, so I wore a t-shirt underneath - it looks a bit weird. I think next time, I would wear a pink tank top underneath to get that orange/pink look like in the scarf.
It also has a weird single row of what looks like a basket weave interspersed with sequins.
You might think it a tight-less day today, but no: I actually went for foot x-rays and the tights were deemed too thick for the machine. Thank goodness for our good medical plan; I can't imagine what x-rays would cost.
Today I wore:
orange basket-weave sweater ... no label
orange tee-shirt (underneath) ... nautica
black skirt (w belt) ... kenneth cole
black shoes ... payless
pastel scarf ... fabric remnant
I like the sherbert-colored top. The wide neckline, w/o the t-shirt, would be good for a date or shopping. I like it's length too.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi: I agree, I think the t-shirt was just weird.
DeleteI think you look great... hmmm, looks as if you have lost a bit of weight too... you look trim!!!

Hmm, must be the belt or something, I think I'm plateau-ing - will have to either eat less or move more.
DeleteYour top is gorgeous, I like the basket weave effect, and the more open neckline. The belt and the cute shoes make it a very elegant outfit!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I wasn't used to the wide open neck - but think it will look fine with a tank ...
