Another Paisley Print

So our good weather looks like it's here to stay.  I've wanted to wear this skirt for a while now, but it's (in my mind anyway) a sunny day item.

It's one of a slew of skirts that I got at a liquidator's for $8.  It was the print that first caught my eye.  It's a dense to sparse paisley print.  The top half is a tight jam-packed not-quite-sure-where-to-look print which slowly changes to a more relaxed, spaced-out one.

It's also a full semi-circular skirt which I prefer in the summer - cooler usually. I wore it with my sparkly top and locally-made necklace:

I actually had a red cardi overtop most of the day and when I got home, I thought it would've actually looked better with my red slip-ons.  What do you think?

Hey - I've changed my Links page too - separating the fashion linkies from the other ones.  It's easier now to tell which link parties apply to your post.

So it being Monday, I'm linking to:

    1. Hey Terri - I was a little iffy on the cut originally - it looks different from above when I look down on it - but it hangs nicely and swooshes - what more can we ask for in a skirt?

  3. What a gorgeous print on that skirt and what a bargain for $8!

    1. Isn't it? It was really hard to limit myself to just a few skirts - they had so many nice ones.

  6. I love that skirt and its special design, and the way it opens up at the bottom. My vote is for the black shoes, but the reds are fab too. Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday!

    1. Hi Patti! The black shoes are actually comfier and are usually the first ones I reach for if they go with an outfit.

  7. Great outfit, all around. Love the print, love the blue color top on you, and love the necklace. And I do think the red shoes are a better choice; they make the bits of red in the skirt jump out.

    1. Thanks Louise. I was thinking that about the red popping out, and since there was red in the necklace too.

  8. That's a lovely skirt, a nice addition to your collection! I really like the top too and the necklace is beautiful! I think you could wear the skirt with boots as well, when the weather gets colder. Not that we want to think about that when you've finally got some sunshine!

  9. You're wearing my favorite shade of aqua, beautiful with your dark features. And I love the style of this tank top...

    1. Hey Susan: Yes, I got the tank because it was a little different; not so bare and slightly dressy.
