Boteh - Love it or Leave it.

Paisley is one of those designs that you either love or hate.  I am on the love it side.  So when I saw this cute top in a paisley pattern at the flea market in Spain, I snapped it up.

I usually wear it with a dark brown T or tank underneath, but today being one of those miserable wet coast days that we get (all the time) I tried to brighten it up by layering it with a reddish T instead.

I think it looked okay - at least some co-workers commented on it.  Here is a closer look:

The scarf is also from Spain.  I'm doing one of those mixed prints combinations that not everyone likes, but I think the mere the morrier as they say.  Also  wearing a Dollar bracelet again.  I never knew when I bought them that they would go with so many outfits!:

  1. I DO like paisley though I don't know that I have any in my wardrobe at the moment. I think that print lends itself to pairings with all kinds of colors.

  2. I love paisley prints too...i like it that they have multi colors that make it fabulous to match. I like yours for the warm earthly tones. Looks great with a red top under

    1. Thanks Mongs! I really like the red too, it was strange because I never even thought of red until the brown T was in the wash.

  3. I'm on the "love" side of paisley. I used to hate it when I was younger, but somewhere along the way I learned to like it, usually in lighter colors.
Yours is very nice with the red underneath, I think you can even wear it into fall.

    1. Thanks Sheila. It still feels like fall here - cold, soggy and windy.

    1. Hi Far! ... Haha! I think that's what drew me to it originally was the combination of earthy colours.
